But I have to say, I SO know what you mean about starting something with excitement and then............! I started a Lone Star Quilt in the late 70's. You probably weren't even born then. I was going to sew the entire star BY HAND! Yes! It was gonna be awesome! Did ONE point on the star by hand...kept track of the time...it took 24 hours. Then I went to the machine.
