Fabulous Freebie Blog Hop!

Who doesn't love a freebie?

If your hand is raised, you're in the right place and if you're following this blog hop,
you'll be as happy as a squirrel with an automatic nut cracker!

Many thanks go out to Joan at Moosetash Quilting
because she's organized a fantastic line-up of bloggers who are sharing
Fabulous Freebie patterns and tutorials.
You can follow along with us this entire week!

I have 3 freebies to share with you today.
All of them were found on blogs or pinterest.
*I have been granted permission by the creators to share links.

My first project is one that is so very clever! I wish I'd had this years ago.
So perfect for travel and even at home!

These are Secret Pocket Hangers! The tutorial can be found here:

They look innocent enough, right?
But wait til you peek underneath!! (It's OK, this is G-rated)

Each hanger has a hidden zippered pocket!
Inside this pocket, you can stash anything your heart desires!
Money, passports, jewels, chocolates!

I love this idea so much, I made one for my husband too. We love to travel!
Sometimes there isn't a safe in a hotel room to keep valuables, so this is the perfect alternative.
Thanks Libby, for this awesome freebie!

Next up is a beautiful sunflower block.

This block and tutorial is made by Vanessa Goertzen of Lella Boutique.
The link to the block's tutorial can be found here, about 3/4 down the page:

I made my block into a small table mat for a side table. It's a perfect size and so cheerful!
I love the fussy-cut bees and bugs I added.

This pattern was so much fun to make and would make an awesome quilt!
Thank you Vanessa!

Finally, I fell in love with another sunflower block at Sandy Star Designs.
This is Block 4 of the Fall Into A Quilt A Long.

I added tiny black beads to the center of the sunflower to look like seeds.
You might notice that there is a mistake I made in this block.
I've heard it said that all Amish women purposely add a "mistake" to each quilt as a reminder that no one is perfect.
I'm going with that thought.
It was purposely put there. (If anyone asks.)

Below is the entire line-up for the Fabulous Freebies blog hop:
