Green Quilt Block for Checkered Hearts Quilt...Connie's March Color of the Month

 

I now have another block for my year-long project!

For the month of March, Connie at Freemotion Quilting By The River chose the color green for her followers to use as they wish in any project. 

I have chosen to use the quilt pattern Checkered Hearts by Alexandra Bordallo. 

Of course, my quilt will have a different color for each of the 12 blocks. 

Just for fun, I played around with the cut off HST pieces and made a mini block. Cute! I'm pretty sure I still have (hoarded) the cut offs from the teal and red blocks too. I'll dig them out and make a mini with those too.
